Note: This is a nice very available pond right at the Rio Sabana park - next to
about 12 picnic shelters (with barbecue equipment, tables and chairs). This one is next to
a bridge and at the end of the park upper section there is a trail to the upper river ponds.
It's a wonderful place to spend a day. But skip this on or after rainy days due to flash floods.
There is parking here for about 25 cars, and the road leading to it is a walk for about 30 mins.
There is another river in the road before this called rio Cubuy and has a little dam.
If the gate is closed one can use this one to bath.
Some Sierra Palms and trees trunks we see on images were demolished by Hurricane
Maria 140 mph winds in 2017. So we see many trunks and trees bent, broken or on
the ground. Basically the forest was demolished by Maria and took over 1 year to recover.
The forest is quite open and receives a lot more light than before in the ground, since
Maria destroyed the canopy. The rain level in this forest is incredible - over 180 inches
per year. I have been in places where every day, all the time, humidity was 99%.
Here is much the same.
Walls can display one's personality! These canvas with high quality print will always look as tight and flat as the day they were made. Every frame is built with a solid face to support the canvas and prevent deforming.
